SO, I WAS supposed to do some shopping yesterday. But I ended up with a couple of hours long wine-lunch at Balthazar instead, together with my friend Caroline, much better! Anyway, Caroline wants my hair-color, and I want hers. Isn’t it always like that? I’ve decided to go darker now. Or darker roots. The most perfect hair-color I’ve seen in a very long time is Bregje’s. I’m gonna work on that, just need to find a very good hair-stylist first.. Super-exctied! I’m gonna do it right after a shoot I have on Tuesday!
Love that hair colour, together with a messy hairdone I think it would look very nice on you :) I just did a post on the movie Beginners, and the actress in that movie also has a similar hair colour together with the messy look. I think this haircolour does not work on perfectly styled and completely frizz-free hair. The hair needs to have an undone texture for this to work, I think..
I just did a post on my blog about the movie Beginners where the actress also has this haircolour. However, I think this colour can only be pulled off if it’s combined with the messy undone hairdo. Dark roots look horrible with perfectly polished and frizz-free hair. Bregje also has this undone look. The hair needs texture and a matte finish to make this haircolour work, is what I think and I just wanted to let you know that you should take this into consideration ;)

Hej Elin, what you can probably do to get this kind of hair color is by highlights, the blonde of your previous color will grow out of your hair and only the highlights will show, this way you get the darker root. the only thing you need to get done the next time you visit the hairdresser is to color the roots, this way you get this nice natural blonde color. Jag brukar färga mina toppar ljusare, ca 10 cm, ger lite samma effekt :) hade jag vågat hade jag valt en tuff färg men än så länge är de bara blonda…
