I got recommend by a friend to use pure Vitamin E oil on my face during night time. I was also told that the best one should be the one you can by very cheap at the super markets. Sounds scary. But after some research that seems to be the case. So, let’s give it a try! My skin definitely needs to be taken care of now. It’s dry and freezing cold in New York, – 14 C, but it feels like -30C for some reason.

Let me know if this works! I’ve heard about how great vitamin E is but I haven’t tried it yet! x
Annie…it is amazing. Try Almond Oil and Coconut Oil too. I am addicted. Check out my blog for recipes
xo
Hmm, and what exactly it is for? For skin elasticity or to fight the biting cold?
Hey elin !!!
I have something I can highly recommend to you:
The Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Serum
It’s an Oil and it’s like a Vitaminbooster for your Skin. You also use this One during Night Time. It’s amazing !!!
You have a very Nice Blog !!! Keep up
Xx

I heart you for this post! I actually do the exact same thing, except with vitamin E cream — the cheapo stuff from the supermarket. I was scared too at first, but it works!
I don’t use it everyday though, like once a week — don’t want to OD on vitamin E.
My facial-lady (hmm.. not sure how to call the person who does my facials (?) :-)) swears by Vitamin E – great for dry skin, wrinkles and overall glow. She recommended Vitamin E serum by is-Clinical. But in the end it’s all about Vitamin E. It’s hard to decipher what this brand is. Can you please specify? I wonder if this is available in the US.
Try it out! Vitamin E is great. ALso apparently skin best responds to serums, but oils are great as well… Can’t hurt… Please do share your results!
Vitamin E oil is amazing, and I’m speaking from experience. If you want to go all out with the vitamin e thing, vitamin e cream works great as a moisturiser.
It’s true – vitamin E is great for healing wounds. In addition, jojoba oil is a fantastic skin treatment as it helps unclog pores, keeps skin smooth, and even acts as a make-up remover (without causing breakouts).

sounds interesting!

Hej Elin! Jag kan även tipsa om att mandelolja är toppen under natten!
Use it in combination with an organic antiageing oil like argan, primrose or rosa mosqueta. I use vitamn E in masks or simple when my skin need an urgent hydration. Your skin will benefit better from vitamn E if you take some supplements with a combo of A,C and E – they need each other to be properly absorbed by the body – and selenium.
I use vitamine e oil as well, but for freezing cold winter it does not work enough for me…
what does work is vitamine a oil mixed with a drop of organic glycerine, does wonders for you face (and feet!)
love

I would also recommend pure argan oil and almond oil (the cheap ones from the supermarkets/pharmacies) both contain high doses of vitamin E and other stuff that’s good for you. Personally, I always take a few drops of argan oil and blend with my regular night cream. Also, argan oil has healing properties in which it can be used as an anti-aging treatment.
PS But why are you scared of cheap stuff from the supermarket? Especially when it comes to oils they are not worse than the high end brands who sells 30ml for a pricey tag. I’m sorry, but that sounded very snobby of you.
Try Rodin Oil. My skin was so dry from the cold weather, it works AMAZING! It is a little expensive but so worth it.
Looks really interesting and I use vit. E in capsuls. I would like to try that one. Have a nice day.

Organic Coconut Virgin oil – the best!
Anna…yes, now I mix in a little bit of Almond Oil to keep the Coconut oil in a liquid state. Recipes on my blog xo
Hi Elin, I read a small interview with you in a german fashion magazine, now that I’ve seen your bog several times, and I’ve come to know others, I honestly can say that your blog is one of my favy, no kidding. I just started a blog, and there are a few out there I really can learn from, but no matter how much I love other blogs, I still will have to do my thing is it? I guess what makes a persons special or interesting is the fact that everybody is different…
I really enjoy your blog, and the vitamin E thing is interesting, I’ve been taking NUTRILITE for years now, look for it online if you like, it’s all natural, very powerful, and it improves your health in general and your skin. For me it really is a miracle, specially the products patented for your sikin like Coenzym Q10, or others. The vitamine E is one of the best you can take, also C is great for your skin and Omega 3.
Thanks a lot for inspiring women like me.
Jana
Hi there, I’m sorry I made so many tiping mistakes on my comment, still not used to the german laptop thing… sorry.Take care.
I put on my face morning and evening Bio Oil which you can buy in the chemist in the UK. It makes my face feel and look great. Iam sure vitamin E oil is just as good x
Elin..yes me too. It works. I have also been using pure Almond Oil & Coconut Oil on my face day and night. Works miracles. For the recipe head to my blog.
xoxo
