The house’s designer Olivier Rousteing found inspiration in American Fashion Editor Diana Vreeland and her taste for Chinoiserie, Mao collars, kimono coats and the exotic sparkle of Lurex. This translates into a rich palette of Chinese reds, fuchsia and turquoise.
“I saw the documentary about Diana Vreeland last October, and after that I looked up the amazingly exotic shoots that she directed. That made me think of Parisian couture houses in the 1970s, and how they referenced Asia in a very European, highly stylized, upbeat way.”
If you havent seen the documentary ”The eye has to travel” About Diana Vreeland , please do. It’s such an amazing story and Diana was such an inspiring woman. You can really see how Oliver found his inspiration from her. Here are some of the looks.

I have so much to tell you, so many photos to share. Let’s start with this one of one, of my outfits. Love the paisley from Pierre Balmain, denim by J Brand, shoes by Altuzarra and my little studded purse by Phillip Lim (he thought that one could be good for me to knock someone done if anyone would be mean to me).
FINALLY IN SYDNEY! Got in a 6 am this morning, of course I lost my luggage and had a nervous breakdown until I got it back an hour later. Checked in, went straight to Australia fashion week for a tv-interview, back to the hotel in 20 minutes for a shower, Kirrily Johnston show, back to the hotel and up to the presidential suite for another 8 interviews.. and then Whitney Eve show before heading back to the hotel at 8.30 pm. Now I’ve been worikng on STYLEBY and obviously done some blogging!
