LAST TOUCH UP before my guest arrived last night. Check back soon again, working on a BIG blog post from last night!!
GOD MORNING! I’m so excited for tonight! Woop! I would like to share some of my own pictures from my year with GUESS. And yesterday, while looking through, this was one of the first I found. And this one made me smile! I forgot that I had it. This is from the first meeting with Paul after we decided to do this collaboration together. I was in LA for meetings. I thought I would have another two weeks, just to find inspiration. My plan was to go to Capetown, by my self. Just to really have some time to think, to make this perfect. I was so wrong… “We need the first 14 schetches in two days, before you leave LA” So, no Capetown, no two weeks of inspiration. Instead the first thing I asked for was to meet Paul. I wanted him to tell me his story, I wanted to know who I actually was gonna design for. 40 minutes later we met up in his archive. No one is more excited then Paul when he get the chance to show all the campaign images through these 30 years. He explained EVERY moment, told me EVERY story. After that meeting I didn’t have any doubt of what I wanted this collection to be about. I wanted to make a collection, inspierd of the history of GUESS, of Pauls story. Make the iconic pieces that we have seen over and over again, but in my way. How I would wear them 2012. Here are some of the pictures I took from that meeting. As you can see, it has a lot of inspiration from the matadors as from the 90s..
GOD MORNING! TOMORROW is a big day for me! Launch party of my collection for GUESS by Marciano. The GUESS-team are right now boarding from LA and Europe to New York, and so also a lot of different magazine from all over the world that are invited for this (!) At the moment I’m just so focused about the collection, the displays and all that. So I don’t even understand that I’m actually included to in this circus. This week I think it’s on time to show some from my look book. Let’s start with a little behind the scene video from the shoot.

JUST DONE AFTER a long and really bad day. Tuesday is normally my favorite day of week, but for some reason this is my second Tuesday in a row that turns out really bad. Anyhow. Here is one behind the scene picture from a shoot I did today, yes, in the storm. OF COURSE. I was warm in my knitted sweater by Hunky Dory that also comes in white. Now – bedtime. See you tomorrow!
PRETTY HECTIC SCHEDULE right now. Doing tons of shoots for my GUESS collection. Today we took some street style shoots with me wearing it. Unfortunately I cant show you anything yet, so I show the my top from Zara instead that I got the other day. My old friend Fredrik is in town and he makes it even more difficult to focus..
RIGHT NOW THERE is only one thing in my mind and that is all about my new apartment (!) here in New York. I’m spending all my time off to look after furnitures and it’s so fun. We will do something totally else compare to my other apartment in Stockholm. Can’t wait to move in. First I’m just gonna go to London for some work, then Sweden, after that it’s 100 % focus on moving in! Yihaa!
Some random pics from my weekend.
Dress by IRO, my new LOVE by Isabel Marant (well, not mine so far, still dreaming about it..), Wang boots, shoot for ELLE US (!)
Hope you all had a great weekend! x
