FIRST OF ALL, thank you SO much for all the kind words regarding my collection for GUESS by Marciano. I can’t seriously wait to show it for you. I got great respond last night, better then I could ever dream off. Ok, now to something else! I saw Hanne Mc Gabby in Soho a couple of weeks ago, wearing baggy-jeans, and I wanted to cross the street and ripped them off her. Since then I’ve been looking for the perfect baggy denim. The pair I have in mind is with a straight leg, baggy with a vintage-look. I still haven’t found them, but I’m working on it. And now when I saw those by Proenza and Theskens Theory resort I NEED more denim. You know that I’m obsessed with denim right? I cant stop buying them. I defintley can’t wait for those to hit stores. Let me know if you have seen any similar or similar to the other pair I tried to describe.
Proenza Schouler will be launching denim this summer.
THE HEAT HAS definitely hit the city, we have around 30 C right now. That makes me put up two thing on my list, a pair of sandals, these once are from Isabel Marant, I might actually get them in brown. And a pair of loose fit denim, thin nice washed out blue denim. Very simple and classic. Hello summer!
EARRINGS, EARRINGS, earrings and earrings. A super-simple styling (as always), as a simlpe t-shirt, vintage denim and a pair of earrings. I might have to get these from Bernard Delettrez.
REECE HUDSON makes clutches that reminds me of my Balenciaga leather jacket. And that is a GOOD sign. That means a piece that I will use year after year. Actually is not very often I find bags and clutches that I really like. Here are just a few from the latest collection. I love the one on top to the left. And the blue, and the snake-skin, and the black…
YOU THAT HAVE been following me for a while probably knows my love to denim, and how I’ve been searching for a perfect pair of skinny, washed out black jeans, for ages. Right now I’m wearing a lot of R13. And I think these are as close to perfect as it gets. They are also very comfy, and they won’t stretch out.
RIGHT NOW I’M styling a story with timeless pieces. Here is a piece by Isabel Marant, a watch inspired by her father “What she remembers most vividly about her father’s steady style is his watch, a simple timepiece with a square, gold face and black fabric band that he was never without. She doesn’t know who made it (the brand name has worn off with time), where he bought it, or if it was a gift. All she knows is that when she wears it now, ten years after her dad’s passing, “I feel a little of him with me.” But because it’s too precious and priceless for everyday use, Marant’s created a near-identical replica that, starting this month, she’ll sell in her New York and Paris stores. //Vogue
