Grunge

During lazy days I take, once again, inspiration from grunge. We’ve seen it before, but I can’t help but to want to wear a plaid shirt tied around my waist, some distressed denim with a wide cut, and some red accent colors.

Michael Kors show for SS12 is the one show I draw inspiration from for my vacation. It is the Safari Look when it is its best.

Crocodile-patterns on both bags, shoes or why not even on your bathing suit? And what better to do poolside than to flip through a book?

I’ve seriously been sitting in front of my computer for 13 hours right now, besides 1 hour lunch meeting. Today is one of these days I can’t wait to retire, my mum just did that, so jealous! Or a least get an intern. There are not many days like this, I really do appreciate my work, and I guess I’m more or less addicted to it. But during these days (when I spend every second in front of my computer screen, in a home that reminds me more of a sauna, 31 degrees in nyc), some parts are still great though, as when I just saw this spread while reading RUSSH magazine (!)

FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY!!  It’s finally official that I’m fronting the Net-a-Porter SS12 campaign along with Patti Hansen, Theodora Richards and Harley Viera Newton, shoot by no one else then Patrick Demarchelier outside New York this fall. It was an amazing experience and I’m so grateful to be a part of this campaign, that will run on spreads in magazines like ELLE, VOGUE etc (!) Just like a princess dream, remember?
