JAG FORTSÄTTER LITE på samma spår som inlägget nedan. Genom er läsare fick jag också reda på att Lo från The Hills har bloggat om mig, och inte bara en gång utan två. Först om denna looken sedan från en outfit när jag hatt och skinnjacka bland annat. Härligt! Måtte denna snö nu bara smälta bort så man kan hoppa i lite outfits igen..

FÖRST FÅR JAG mail av en läsare, Sofie, som tipsar om att jag är med på ett uppslag i en australiensk tidning. Några dagar senare plingar det till i inboxen igen med ett mail från Camilla som varit på semester i Australien och bläddrat i samma tidning, där hontill sin förvåning hittade mig. “Meet the blogging worls new it-girl – Elin Kling, editor of Style by Kling. Jo man tackar!

“I don’t get the need for this immediacy. In fact, I think it’s bad.
The way the system works now, you see the clothes, within an hour or so they’re online, the world sees them. They don’t get to a store for six months. The next week, young celebrity girls are wearing them on red carpets. They’re in every magazine. The customer is bored with those clothes by the time they get to the store. They’re overexposed, you’re tired of them, they’ve lost their freshness… In addition, all of the fast-fashion companies that do a great job, by the way, knock everything off. So it’s everywhere all over the streets in three months and by the time you get it to the store, what’s the point?
I’m holding everything back… The clothes are not going out to magazines before January issues. The clothes are not going to celebrities before December. The images are not being released online until December, when they’ll go online on my Web site.”

NU KAN VI döingar också få se Tom Fords SS 11 kollektion. Ni vet den som hade kamera-förbud, ja förutom Terr Richardssons då som var visningens självaste hus-fotograf. På catwalken har vi i efterhand fått se bland annat Beyonce, här får vi se resten! Lova att kolla in, denna “olf-fashion”-visning, jag fick gåshud.
